This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Völseggspitze - Obere Sauböden, offering stunning viewpoints and a challenging yet rewarding experience. The total distance of the hike is approximately 8.2 kilometers with an elevation gain of 604 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take around 3 hours and 24 minutes to complete.

As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area about 2.5 kilometers from the start point, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. Midway through the route, at around the 3.3-kilometer mark, you will find a bench where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Continuing on, at the 4.1-kilometer mark, you will reach a viewpoint that offers a breathtaking panorama of the area. Nearby, there is also a restaurant and alpine hut, Schutzhaus Tschafon - Rifugio Monte Cavone, where you can refuel and relax before continuing on your journey.

Further along the trail, you will encounter more benches for resting, as well as additional viewpoints and information points that provide insights into the surroundings. The highlight of the hike is reaching the peak of Völseggspitze - Monte Balzo at the 4.1-kilometer mark, where you can enjoy the stunning vistas from the top.

It is important to note that this is an out-and-back route, so be prepared for the return journey after reaching the destination.
