This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural scenery. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 7.099 kilometers and an elevation gain of 635 meters, making it a difficult hike.
As you start your journey, you will pass by a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. About 2.82 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the picturesque Fischteich (Fish Pond), a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
Continuing on, at around 3.45 kilometers, you will encounter another water feature along the trail. As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the historic wayside cross located 0.73 kilometers from the start, offering a glimpse into the area's past.
Throughout the hike, you will find benches and information points strategically placed along the trail, providing resting spots and interesting insights into the surroundings. Additionally, there are alpine huts, such as the Seapnalm and Vögeler Alm, where you can rest and refuel before heading back.
It is recommended to bring an ample water supply, as well as snacks and proper hiking gear. Checking the weather forecast before setting out is also advisable to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience on this challenging hiking route to Vögeler Alm.
