This extremely difficult 18.018-kilometer hiking route will take you through the stunning scenery of Bocca Piccaia. The trail starts at the parking area and meanders through challenging terrain, offering a total elevation gain of 1536 meters.
Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Refuge de Carozzu, an alpine hut where hikers can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature. Further along, you will come across the Bivouac de Carozzu campsite, perfect for those wanting to spend a night under the stars.
As you continue your journey, you will reach the Bocca di L'Innominata and Bocca di Pisciaghja saddles, offering breathtaking views of the area. Be sure to stop by the Fontaine de Spasimata spring for a refreshing break.
