Welcome to the hiking route to Monte Tolu!
Located in a beautiful area, this moderate 6.93 km out-and-back trail offers stunning views and a good workout. With an elevation gain of 241 meters, hikers can expect a gradual climb throughout the route.
Starting at the parking area, you'll begin your journey towards Monte Tolu. Along the way, you'll come across several points of interest. About 3.47 km into the hike, you'll reach the peak of Monte Tolu, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Continuing on, you'll pass by Bocca di Battaglia, a scenic saddle, and Bocca Di A Croce d'Olu.
For a break, you can visit Snack Merendella, a restaurant located near the trail at the beginning. Further along, you'll encounter an informative artwork and historic wayside cross. As you approach the peak, there will be another peak, but off the trail, offering a different perspective.
Remember to bring plenty of water, as the duration of the hike is around 2 hours and 12 minutes. It's also advisable to check the weather forecast before heading out.
