This hiking route will take you to the beautiful Lachenkopf area, offering stunning views and diverse points of interest along the way. The total distance of the route is approximately 9.4 kilometers with an elevation gain of 721 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

Starting off, you will pass by the Jöchelspitzbahn parking area, where you can conveniently leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. As you make your way, you will come across the Lechtaler Hexenkessel restaurant, providing a great opportunity to refuel and enjoy some local cuisine.

Further along the trail, you will reach the Sonnalm, a restaurant and alpine hut located approximately 3.6 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect spot to take a break and admire the surrounding nature.

Additionally, you will encounter several benches along the trail for moments of rest and relaxation. The Paragleiter Startplatz West and various free-flying areas offer a unique experience for those interested in paragliding or hang gliding.

The trail culminates at the Lachenkopf peak, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the area before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
