This hiking route will take you through the stunning area of Geoglifos Pampa de Sacramento. The trail is 8.247 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 71.0 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 2 hours and 5 minutes to complete.
Starting off at the trailhead, you will first come across the parking area located right at the beginning of the route. Make sure to park your car here before embarking on your adventure. As you continue along the trail, you will pass by several points of interest.
Midway through the hike, you will reach the Sundial, an archaeological site located 4.06 kilometers from the start of the trail. Take a moment to explore this ancient monument before moving on. Along the way, you will also encounter the Chicchitara Petroglyphs, another archaeological site that lies 4.12 kilometers from the start.
At around 2.16 kilometers into the hike, you will find the restaurant called Yuri, where you can take a break and grab a bite to eat. Additionally, La sazón de mami is located 1.99 kilometers from the start, offering another dining option along the trail. If you're looking for more food choices, El Cerdito al Humo is conveniently situated right at the beginning of the route, while Las Palmeras de Florata and Fabrizio are 2.51 and 1.99 kilometers from the start, respectively.
As you reach the end of the trail, you will arrive at the Geoglifos Pampa de Sacramento viewpoint, offering a breathtaking panorama of the surroundings. Take some time to admire the view before heading back on the same route, making this an out-and-back hike.
