This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you to the stunning Monte Torrecane area. With a total distance of 22.532 kilometers and an elevation gain of 730 meters, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to bring plenty of water and pack some snacks to refuel along the way.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards Monte Torrecane. As you make your way, you will pass by a convenient bar where you can grab a quick bite to eat before continuing on the trail. Roughly 0.87 kilometers into the hike, you will find yourself at the bar, perfect for a mid-hike break.

Further along the trail, at the 2.19 kilometer mark, you will come across a refreshing spring where you can fill up your water bottle and take a moment to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. From there, continue on as you steadily climb towards the peak of Monte Torrecane.

At the 9.65 kilometer mark, you will have the opportunity to take a short detour to visit the beautiful Lago di Cornino, a picturesque lake that offers a serene spot to rest and take in the natural beauty of the area.

As you reach the peak of Monte Torrecane, located at the 11.27 kilometer mark, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take a moment to soak in the scenery before beginning your descent back towards the starting point.
