This extremely difficult 15.443-kilometer out-and-back hiking route offers a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. The trail starts in a scenic area near Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, where parking is available just a short distance away from the trailhead. As you begin your journey, you will pass by a bar and a monument called "Scritta \"Antrodoco\" fatta di bulloni" at the beginning of the hike, providing some interesting points of interest to explore.

As you continue along the trail, you'll come across a monumental railway crossing and a drinking water point, which can be a refreshing stop for hikers. About midway through the hike, you will reach Rifugio Borgovelino, an alpine hut where you can take a break and soak in the mountain views.
