This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with various points of interest to explore. The trail is super easy, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

Starting at Bassin Smith, you will first come across a parking area, making it convenient to begin your hike. As you continue on the trail, you will pass by the Tortoise Pen, where you can observe these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. Further along, you will reach the White Lotus Pond and the Giant Water Lily Pond, offering picturesque views of the tranquil waters.

Midway through the hike, you will find the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden, a popular attraction in the area. Here, you can take a leisurely stroll and admire the diverse plant species on display. Nearby, there is also a shelter for hikers to take a rest and enjoy the surroundings.

Towards the end of the trail, you will encounter various benches along the way, providing perfect spots to take in the scenery and relax. Additionally, there is an Old Sugar Mill Model to explore, adding a historical touch to the hike.
