This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with various points of interest along the way. The trail is super easy, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Tortoise Pen about 0.17 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail at 0.23 kilometers, you will come across a Picnic Site where you can take a break and enjoy some snacks.

As you continue on, you will reach the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden at around 0.48 kilometers. This attraction is not directly on the trail but is worth a visit for its natural beauty.

Around 0.55 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Giant Water Lily Pond, a serene spot to admire the giant water lilies.

At the halfway point, about 0.69 kilometers in, you will come across the White Lotus Pond and Bassin Smith, two more water features along the trail.

Throughout the hike, you will also encounter various benches and shelters where you can rest and take in the surroundings.

Before embarking on this hike, make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast. The total distance of the out-and-back trail is 1.377 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it a leisurely stroll for nature lovers.
