This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Cearcănul peak, offering stunning views and a challenging adventure. The total distance of the route is 16.752 kilometers with an elevation gain of 554 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will test your endurance and stamina.

You will start your journey at Pasul Prislop, a natural saddle that marks the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the path, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you will pass by a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before starting the trek. Approximately 0.6 kilometers into the hike, you will find a spring known as Cornul Nedeii, offering a refreshing stop along the way.

Midway through the hike, you will reach Cearcănul peak, a natural peak that serves as the highlight of the route. Here, you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and take a well-deserved rest before continuing on. As you make your way back, you will pass by Cabana Dacilor, an alpine hut where you can stop for a meal or a rest break.

Throughout the hike, you may also come across other points of interest such as Cabana Alpina, a historic memorial, and a wayside cross. It is important to note that the trail is challenging and requires proper preparation. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear.
