This hiking route in Tebrandi - Cabrales offers a moderately challenging adventure, covering a distance of approximately 6.6 kilometers with an elevation gain of 395 meters. Starting at the trailhead, you will find a convenient parking area to leave your vehicle before embarking on the journey. As you begin your hike, you will pass by the Mirador del Picu Urriellu viewpoint, only 0.18 kilometers from the start, offering a stunning early view of the surrounding landscape.
Further along the trail, at around 2.78 kilometers from the start, you will come across Picu Tebrandi, a noteworthy peak in the area. While it may not be directly on the trail, the detour to this peak is definitely worth the extra effort for the panoramic views it offers.
Continuing on, you will encounter El Táranu peak at 0.31 kilometers from the start, and a bit later, Collado Robellal saddle at 2.48 kilometers, providing a nice resting spot to take in the scenery.
As you reach the midway point of the hike, make a stop at Sidreria Casa Niembro, a restaurant just 0.27 kilometers off the trail, where you can refuel and recharge for the remainder of the journey.
Moving forward, you will arrive at Collado Tebrandi saddle, standing at 3.31 kilometers into the hike, offering another great vantage point to appreciate the surrounding nature.
Throughout the route, you will encounter several other peaks and saddles, each providing its own unique charm and allure. Make sure to stay hydrated, especially as you approach the springs at 3.24 and 3.31 kilometers from the start.
