This extremely difficult 12.37-kilometer out-and-back hiking route in the Peña Blanca area offers stunning views and challenging terrain for experienced hikers.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by a parking area before reaching a water source around the 4.55-kilometer mark. As you continue, you'll encounter the Peña Blanca peak at around the 6.19-kilometer point, offering a great spot to take in the surrounding scenery.
Further along the trail, you'll come across the Collado Robellal saddle at 2.48 kilometers from the start, followed by the Collado Tebrandi saddle at 3.38 kilometers in. These points provide a chance to rest and enjoy the views before pushing onward.
At the 1.59-kilometer mark, you'll reach the Picu Tebrandi peak, although slightly off the trail, it's worth the detour for a unique perspective. The Cruz de Pedrellada saddle and several other peaks are also accessible along the way, offering additional challenges and viewpoints.
As you approach the endpoint, you'll find the Mirador del Picu Urriellu viewpoint at 0.18 kilometers from the start, providing a final panoramic view before turning back.
With 774 meters of elevation gain, this route requires proper preparation, including sufficient water, snacks, and appropriate gear.
