This hiking route is an extremely difficult out-and-back trail that spans a distance of 12.37 kilometers with an elevation gain of 774 meters. The total duration for this hike is estimated to be around 4 hours and 47 minutes.

The trail begins at a parking area and heads towards a viewpoint called Mirador del Picu Urriellu, which offers a stunning panoramic view of the surroundings. This viewpoint is located at a distance of 0.18 kilometers from the starting point, making it a great spot to visit early on in the hike.

As you continue along the trail, you will come across a spring located 3.24 kilometers from the start, followed by another spring at 3.34 kilometers. These are great places to refill your water supply, so make sure to bring enough with you as well.

At the 4.55-kilometer mark, there is a water feature where you can take a break and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Further along the trail, at the 6.19-kilometer mark, you will reach the peak of Peña Blanca, which offers a challenging but rewarding climb.

During the hike, you will also come across various saddles and peaks, such as Collado Robellal, Collado Tebrandi, Cruz de Pedrellada, and La Pica. These points provide opportunities to take in the scenic views and rest before continuing on the trail.

For sustenance, there is a restaurant called Sidreria Casa Niembro located at 0.27 kilometers from the start, where you can stop for a meal or snack before continuing your journey.

It is important to note that some of the peaks are located off the main trail, so make sure to follow the markers carefully to stay on course. As this is an extremely difficult hike, it is recommended to be well-prepared with proper hiking gear, sufficient water, and snacks. Additionally, checking the weather forecast before heading out is always advisable.
