This extremely difficult 15.466-kilometer out-and-back hiking route takes you to the breathtaking area of la Raia del Pedale. The trail starts at a parking area and ascends to the peak of la Raia del Pedale, offering stunning views of Alburni, Cervati, and Centaurino. Along the way, you will pass by a cafe and several bars where you can rest and refuel. Make sure to stay hydrated as there are drinking water facilities available at a fountain and picnic site.

Midway through the hike, you will come across the Croce della Mezzana saddle, providing a picturesque spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature. Although the trail is challenging with an elevation gain of 1065 meters, the panoramic viewpoints make it all worth it. It is essential to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey.
