This hiking route takes place in the beautiful area of Strada forestale Aia Val Boschetto. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 4.411 kilometers and an elevation gain of 99.0 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Continuing along the trail, at around 1.74 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source where you can refill your water bottles and take a refreshing break. As you approach the 2.21-kilometer mark, there are two more water sources along the trail, perfect for rehydrating and taking in the surrounding nature.

Around the midway point of the hike, at 1.73 kilometers from the start, you will come across Porta Manazzo, a historic saddle that adds a touch of cultural significance to your outdoor adventure. Nearby, you will also find an information point where you can learn more about the area's natural and cultural highlights.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, take a moment to appreciate the wayside cross at a distance of 1.74 kilometers from the start, adding a spiritual element to your hike. Before reaching the trailhead, you can also explore Rifugio Val Formica, another alpine hut offering a cozy stop for hikers.
