This extremely difficult 14.092-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Peñas de la Majada area, offering breathtaking views and a challenging adventure.
Starting at the parking area located 0.36 kilometers from the trailhead, hikers can prepare for the journey ahead. About midway through the hike, at 5.46 kilometers from the start, you will reach the picturesque saddle known as Puerto de Pasapán. This point provides a great spot to rest and take in the surrounding natural beauty.
Further along the trail, at 7.05 kilometers from the start, you will find a shelter for a quick break before continuing your ascent. As you push forward, at 4.11 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Alto del Casetón, offering panoramic views of the area.
Throughout the hike, make sure to bring an ample water supply and check the weather forecast beforehand. Additionally, at the beginning and end of the trail, you will find convenient parking areas for easy access to the route.
