This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Klettergebiet Fuchslochsteig. With a total distance of 5.729 kilometers and an elevation gain of 518 meters, this route is considered difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards the Fuchslochhöhle cave entrance, located approximately 2.68 kilometers from the start. Along the way, you'll pass by the Karl-Ludwig-Haus alpine hut (1.22 kilometers from the start) where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.
Continuing on the trail, you'll come across the ehemalige Lackenhoferhütte ruins (1.91 kilometers from the start) and the Schneegrubensattel saddle (1.89 kilometers from the start), offering picturesque views of the surrounding natural landscape.
