This challenging hiking route will take you on a circular journey through the stunning landscape surrounding Sentier de Chamossalaz. With a total distance of 8.862 kilometers and an elevation gain of 623 meters, this hike is perfect for experienced hikers looking for a rewarding adventure.
Starting from Col de Jaman, you'll begin your trek with a visit to Restaurant Le Manoïre where you can grab some refreshments before continuing on. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across the breathtaking Rochers de Naye, a peak located 4.3 kilometers from the start. Take in the panoramic views and snap some photos before heading towards the Décollage site for some paragliding action.
Along the route, you'll encounter various points of interest such as the Grottes de Naye cave entrance, the Grande Chaux de Naye peak, and the Paradis des Marmottes attraction. Make sure to stop by the viewpoint at Plein Roc and enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants along the trail including Restaurant Le Manoïre and another one at 4.09 kilometers. Don't forget to fill up your water bottle at the drinking water point 1.28 kilometers into the hike.
As you approach the end of the hike, you'll be treated to more stunning viewpoints and attractions, including Jardin alpin La Rambertia and a wayside cross at 3.68 kilometers.
