Located in the beautiful El Jou region, this extremely difficult 9.105-kilometer out-and-back hiking route offers stunning views and a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. The trail starts at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle and begin your journey.

As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by the informational point at Vega de Asotín, providing insight into the local area. Throughout the hike, you will encounter several peaks, including Peña del Porrecho and other unnamed peaks, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Around midway through the hike, you will find a drinking water point for a refreshing break before continuing on the trail. Be sure to carry enough water with you, as this route involves a significant elevation gain of 1274.0 meters.

One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the summit of Lago Bajero, which is located approximately 4.5 kilometers from the start of the trail. While challenging, the views from the peak make the effort worthwhile.
