This hiking route on Steingrubenweg is a super easy 1.1 km out-and-back trail with a total elevation gain of 35 meters. The trail takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area, you will find yourself on a well-maintained path surrounded by beautiful scenery. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Italiener Denkmal memorial and a bicycle parking area.

As you continue on the trail, you will pass by several benches where you can take a rest and enjoy the views. Around the midway point, there are drinking water stations available for hikers to refill their water bottles. Further along the trail, you will find a cluster of benches and another drinking water station.

Towards the end of the trail, you will reach the Griechische Taverne restaurant, where you can stop for a meal before heading back. Additionally, there is a Water station nearby. If you continue a bit further, you will reach the Restaurant Wintergarten.

For history enthusiasts, the Burgruine Münchenstein castle ruins are located near the end of the trail. Further on, you will find the C/Garten der Erinnerung memorial and the Gedenkobelisk Eisenbahnunglück memorial.
