This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Balzi dell'Angelo. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 7.182 kilometers and an elevation gain of 177 meters, making it a difficult hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to bring enough water for this challenging hike. About 0.1 kilometers into the hike, you will find a drinking water station to refill your bottles.

Further along the trail, at around 0.43 kilometers from the start, there is a bar where you can take a break and grab a snack. As you continue, at 0.82 kilometers from the start, you will find another drinking water station.

One of the highlights of the hike is the viewpoints along the way. At around 3.19 kilometers into the hike, there is a viewpoint overlooking the stunning landscape. You will also come across more viewpoints at 3.25 and 3.59 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings.

At about 2.91 kilometers into the hike, you will find an information point named "Bivio 125/135," where you can learn more about the area. Another information point, "Bivio sette casoni," is located at 2.99 kilometers from the start.

Towards the end of the trail, at 0.1 kilometers before reaching the destination, you will find Ristorante Hotel Montegrande and Rester, where you can enjoy a meal after completing the challenging hike.
