This challenging hiking route takes you through the beautiful Zirbenweg area, offering stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The total distance of the route is approximately 9.9 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 1007 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding journey.
Starting at the Waldcafé Sistrans restaurant, located right at the trailhead, you begin your adventure through lush forested areas and open meadows. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across the Fußballkantine restaurant, an ideal spot to refuel and enjoy a meal.
Further along the route, you'll reach the Lanser Alm, a charming alpine hut where you can relax and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, there are several benches scattered along the trail, providing perfect spots to rest and admire the scenery.
As you continue your hike, you'll encounter a viewpoint offering a breathtaking vista of the area, as well as a natural spring where you can replenish your water supply.
