This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Les Roches on the Route du Col de l'Iseran. With a distance of 14.3 kilometers and an elevation gain of 717 meters, this trail is rated as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a challenging yet rewarding adventure.

Starting off at the parking area near the trail, you will soon come across La Grange du Traverole, a restaurant and campsite just 0.01 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to rest and refuel before continuing on your journey.

As you trek along, you will encounter a water source about 7.15 kilometers into the hike, perfect for filling up your water bottles and taking a refreshing break. Keep an eye out for picnic sites and historic wayside crosses along the way, adding cultural richness to your outdoor experience.

About midway through the trail, at 0.95 kilometers from the start, you will find a charming fountain where you can cool off and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The turnaround point of the out-and-back route leads you to Croix de la Passion, a historic wayside cross located 1.0 kilometers from the start. Take in the views, snap some photos, and appreciate the journey you have completed before heading back.
