This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on an out-and-back journey to Les Roches - Route du Col de l'Iseran. The trail spans a distance of 14.3 kilometers with a total elevation gain of 717 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding adventure.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. Just 0.63 kilometers from the start, you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. As you continue onwards, at the 0.01 kilometer mark, you will come across La Grange du Traverole, a restaurant and campsite nestled off the trail.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 7.15 kilometers from the start, there is a water source where you can replenish your supplies. Additionally, you will encounter picnic sites and historic wayside crosses scattered along the trail, offering opportunities to take a break and admire the surroundings.
As you approach the end of the route, approximately 0.95 kilometers from the start, you will find a fountain where you can rest and recharge before heading back.
