This challenging hiking route will take you through a stunning area with beautiful viewpoints and a climbing wall along the way. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of approximately 6.42 kilometers and an elevation gain of 646 meters.
You will start your journey at the parking area located at the trailhead. As you begin the hike, you will come across a wayside shrine about 0.78 kilometers from the start. This historical site provides a peaceful spot to pause and reflect.
Continuing along the trail, you will reach a climbing wall, the "Palestra di arrampicata sportiva," located approximately 3.02 kilometers from the start. This is a great opportunity to test your climbing skills and enjoy a unique experience on the trail.
As you trek further, you will encounter several panoramic viewpoints. The first viewpoint is about 2.76 kilometers from the beginning, followed by another viewpoint at 2.94 kilometers, and a third viewpoint at 3.21 kilometers. These spots offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, making them perfect places to take a break and capture some memorable photos.
At around 3.05 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of San Giuliano, a natural landmark that provides a spectacular vantage point of the area.
Along the way, there are two drinking water stations located at 1.68 kilometers and 1.42 kilometers from the start, providing a convenient opportunity to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated on the hike.
