This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type, with the destination being the Rifugio Grauson.
Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, you will embark on a 12.7 km journey with an elevation gain of 700 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike. Along the way, you will pass by various points of interest that add to the experience.
About 5.6 km into the hike, you will come across an information point marked as "8 8A", providing some insights into the surroundings. Further along, at 3.17 km, you will reach the Cascate di Pila, a stunning waterfall worth admiring.
As you continue, you will encounter several more information points, benches, and wayside shrines, each adding to the charm of the hike. Remember to stay hydrated, especially since there are drinking water facilities available along the trail.
Midway through the hike, around the 6.36 km mark, you will reach the Rifugio Grauson, an alpine hut where you can take a well-deserved rest and enjoy the amenities offered.
