This hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Puig Gros. With a total distance of 12.134 kilometers and an elevation gain of 912 meters, this trail is considered extremely difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.
Starting at the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you will pass by the restaurant Can Quet around 0.18 kilometers from the start. As you progress, you will encounter various points of interest such as Es Teix/Valldemossa information point, Piques des Clot fountain, and the ruins of historical significance.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Es Caragolí peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings. Continuing on, you will pass by Puig Gros peak at around 6.07 kilometers from the start of the trail.
Along the way, you will also come across several viewpoints where you can take a break and admire the natural beauty of the area. Make sure to stop by S'Hortet cafe for a refreshing drink around 0.03 kilometers from the trail.
As you head back towards the starting point, you can explore the cave entrance at Cova de s'Aigua, located approximately 5.58 kilometers from the start.
