This extremely difficult 16.168-kilometer circular hiking route in Nevada offers a challenging and rewarding experience for hikers. The trail begins at a parking area at the trailhead and winds through diverse terrain with a total elevation gain of 375 meters.
Along the way, hikers will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, there is a water source located 1.28 kilometers from the start, providing an opportunity to refill water bottles. Further along the trail, at 1.64 kilometers from the start, there is another water source directly on the trail for convenience.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 5.56 kilometers from the start, hikers will find Centro BTT Nevada, an information center that offers valuable insights into the area. Additionally, Fuente Martín, a drinking water source, is located at 1.44 kilometers from the starting point, offering a refreshing break.
Towards the end of the hike, at 5.58 kilometers from the start, Las Chimeneas, a restaurant, provides a perfect spot to rest and refuel before completing the final stretch of the trail. As hikers near the end of the route, there are several drinking water sources available at various distances from the trail.
