The route is a circular trail with a total distance of 10.854 kilometers and an elevation gain of 493 meters, making it a difficult trek that is best suited for experienced hikers.

As you begin your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area just 13.56 meters away from the trail. This is a great spot to leave your vehicle before embarking on the adventure ahead. Around the 4.86 kilometer mark, you will find a shelter where you can take a break and refuel before continuing on the path.

Around the 4.28 kilometer mark, there is a natural spring where you can replenish your water supply and stay hydrated. Further along the trail at 3.57 kilometers, you will encounter the picturesque saddle known as collado de Belabieta, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Midway through the hike, at 4.86 kilometers, you will find a charming picnic site where you can take in the scenery and enjoy a well-deserved rest. Continuing onwards, at 5.29 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Muñotsa, providing a sense of accomplishment and breathtaking panoramic views.

Throughout the trail, you will also come across informative signposts at 3.59 kilometers, providing interesting insights about the area's history and natural features.
