This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of "Schlucht der 1000 Stufen" in a circular path. The total distance of the route is approximately 10.63 kilometers with an elevation gain of 956 meters, making it a difficult trail that will challenge hikers both physically and mentally.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Pirchhof, an alpine hut located just 3.68 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great place to take a break and enjoy some refreshments before continuing on your hike. Along the way, you will also pass by a parking area, benches, picnic sites, and a waterfall at around 5.18 kilometers from the start.

Throughout the trail, you will encounter several benches where you can rest and take in the stunning views of the surrounding nature. It is important to stay hydrated, so make sure to bring an adequate amount of water with you. The trail also features information points and historic sites such as wayside crosses and shrines, adding a cultural aspect to your hike.

At around 3.39 kilometers from the start, you will find the Schnatzhof restaurant and alpine hut, where you can refuel with some delicious food. The restaurant is open from 11:00 to 16:00 and 17:30 to 20:00, providing a convenient stop for hungry hikers.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, take in the peaceful surroundings and appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
