Hiking : Cascata Cukula

This extremely difficult 17.485-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the beautiful Cascata Cukula area. The trail starts with a serene atmosphere as you make your way through the lush greenery. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest.

About 3.5 kilometers into the hike, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the surrounding area. There are also a couple of restaurants nearby, such as Eco Kmetija Robidisce, where you can grab a bite to eat around the 2.77-kilometer mark.

As you continue on, you'll encounter Cascata Cukula, a stunning waterfall about 8.74 kilometers from the start of the trail. Take a moment to admire the picturesque views and maybe even take some photos. Nearby, there is a naturalistic path called Sentiero Naturalistico "Cascate Cukula" where you can explore the area further.

For those in need of refreshment, there is a drinking water point around 2.83 kilometers into the hike. Additionally, at the beginning of the trail, there is another information point and a parking area for your convenience.

If you're up for a challenge, you can also venture off the trail to Čelo Peak, located about 1.35 kilometers away from the main path.

Given the length of the hike and the 740-meter elevation gain, make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. It's also recommended to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and happy hiking!
