This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Monte Zaiavor. With a total distance of 14.678 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1272 meters, this challenging journey offers stunning views and a rugged terrain to conquer.

Starting off at Sella Carnizza, you'll immediately be immersed in the natural beauty of the area. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find a convenient parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this adventure. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across helpful information points, benches for resting, and even a chapel called Cappella Lujnä for a moment of contemplation.

Around the 3.54-kilometer mark, there is a restaurant where you can refuel and recharge before continuing your trek. Further along, at around 6.89 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the scenic Bocchetta di Zaiavor saddle, offering a perfect spot to take in the breathtaking surroundings.

As you approach the peak of Monte Zaiavor, which is located at around 7.34 kilometers into the hike, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views that make the challenging journey worth it. On your return journey, be sure to visit Sant'Anna di Carnizza information point at around 4.24 kilometers from the start, providing interesting insights into the area.

With various points of interest scattered along the trail, including benches, saddles, and viewpoints, this out-and-back route offers a truly immersive hiking experience. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before setting out on this demanding but rewarding adventure in the Monte Zaiavor region.
