This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes and historic sites. The trail is 12.142 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 728 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
You will start your journey at Rifugio La Casetta di Lapo, a restaurant located 2.88 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you will come across Piramidi, ancient monuments just 0.01 kilometers away from the trail. Further along, at 3.19 kilometers, you'll find Lago della Risaia, a scenic lake perfect for a rest stop.
Midway through your hike, at 4.84 kilometers, you'll pass by Monte Rotondo, a picturesque peak in the area. Keep going and at 6.07 kilometers, you'll reach Pizzo dei Sassi Bianchi, another peak offering breathtaking views.
