This hiking route to Laderdinger Gamskarspitz is set in a stunning alpine region, offering breathtaking views and a challenging adventure. With a total distance of 12.694 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1235.0 meters, this hike is classified as extremely difficult and will take approximately 6 hours to complete.
Starting from the Wanderparkplatz parking area, hikers will first pass by Annencafe before reaching the trailhead. As you begin your journey, make sure to stop by Gräfinsitz viewpoint for a picturesque view of the surroundings. Along the way, you will encounter several benches for resting, including Baschtei Bründl and multiple information points to learn more about the area.
Midway through the hike, at around 5.24 kilometers from the start, you will come across Schmalzscharte saddle, offering a unique and memorable experience. Further along the trail, you will find Bruder Klaus Berg-Kapelle wayside shrine, adding a touch of historic charm to your adventure.
As you approach the endpoint, the Laderdinger Gamskarspitz peak will come into view, rewarding you with a sense of accomplishment and stunning panoramic views. At the summit, you can take a well-deserved break before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
