Welcome to the Monte Campeon hiking route! This circular trail, spanning 5.59 kilometers with an elevation gain of 315 meters, offers a moderate challenge for hikers.

The trail begins at Sammardenchia, where you'll find a convenient parking area. As you embark on your journey, you'll come across Troi de memorie, an information point located midway through the hike. Around the 2.6-kilometer mark, you'll encounter the Pignarul viewpoint and Monte Campeon peak, both offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.

Further along the route, at a distance of 2.56 kilometers from the start, you'll discover historical ruins at Ricovero militare. Additionally, at a distance of 2.56 kilometers, there are more ruins that are located slightly off the main trail, offering a glimpse into the area's historic past.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, take in the beauty of the natural and historic landmarks that dot the Monte Campeon trail.
