This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the stunning peak of Cima Cialancia in the Alpi Marittime Natural Park. The 12.236 km long trail offers a challenging adventure with an elevation gain of 761 meters.
Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, you will begin your journey into the wilderness. Along the way, at the beginning of the trail, you will come across a wayside shrine that holds historical significance. As you continue, you will reach Colle dell'Arpione, a picturesque saddle located approximately midway through the hike.
Further ahead, you will encounter informational points providing insights into the flora, fauna, and history of the region. These points of interest are scattered throughout the trail, with some closer to the start and others closer to the peak. Be sure to stop and take in the informative displays as you make your way towards Cima Cialancia.
The final stretch of the hike takes you to the summit of Cima Cialancia, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Take your time to soak in the beauty of the natural landscape before making your way back along the same trail.
