This hiking route is located in the beautiful area around Knochen. The trail is a circular route with a distance of approximately 3.3 kilometers and an elevation gain of 68 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the adventure. Along the way, you will pass by a bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. Further along the trail, you will encounter another bench and a wayside cross, adding a touch of historic charm to your hike.

As you continue on, you will reach a peak called Schweinsberg, although it is not directly on the trail but still offers a great viewpoint to admire. Another highlight of the hike is the peak called Knochen, which you will reach at around 1.5 kilometers into the hike.

Remember to bring plenty of water, as there are no water sources along the trail. It's also a good idea to check the weather forecast before heading out, as conditions can change quickly in the mountains.
