Welcome to the Westenfeldmark hiking route! This circular trail offers a peaceful and scenic trek through the beautiful landscape.

As you start your hike, you'll come across the "Alter Postweg" parking area right at the beginning of the trail. From there, make your way to the "Knochenhütte" shelter about midway through the hike, where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Just a short distance away, you'll find a viewpoint overlooking the area, perfect for capturing some stunning photos.

Further along the trail, you'll reach the "Knochen" picnic site, ideal for a snack or lunch stop. As you continue, you'll pass by benches and the "Heinrich Heine Hütte" shelter, offering some rest spots along the way.

For those interested in a challenge, head towards the "Peak" which is slightly off the main trail, but offers a rewarding view of the surroundings.

Near the starting point, you'll find the "Eggekrug" restaurant, a great place to grab a meal after your hike. Be sure to check their opening hours before planning your visit. Additionally, make sure to bring enough water and check the weather forecast before embarking on this easy hike, covering a distance of approximately 3.8 kilometers with no significant elevation gain.
