This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the stunning Cima Gail in the beautiful alpine region. The route has a total distance of 39.467 kilometers and an elevation gain of 2274 meters, so be prepared for a challenging adventure.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Dellacher Alm biergarten just 0.41 kilometers from the start, where you can grab a refreshing drink before heading out. Along the way, you will encounter the Lärchriegel Sattel at 11.45 kilometers, the Scharte beim Kalten Brunnen at 6.24 kilometers, and the Schönwipfel peak at 6.88 kilometers.
As you continue on, you will reach the Rauna-Sattel at 10.88 kilometers, offering a picturesque resting spot with beautiful views. Make sure to stay hydrated by refilling your water bottle at the drinking water station located 0.36 kilometers from the start.
The trail will lead you to the Cima Gail peak at 19.73 kilometers, the Col di Mezzo peak at 8.9 kilometers, and the Croda dei Cacciatori peak at 18.87 kilometers. These elevated points provide breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
