This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Dva Brata (Two Brothers) to the summit of Beshtau. The total distance of the trail is approximately 2.7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 184 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for beginners and families.
Starting from the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you will pass by Monastyrskoe Lake about 0.4 kilometers from the start. The lake offers a serene setting for a quick rest stop before continuing on your journey. Further along the trail, at around 0.53 kilometers from the start, you will find a spring with drinking water, perfect for refilling your water bottles.
As you hike towards the summit, you will encounter Lisii Nos (Fox's Nose) viewpoint and peak at approximately 1.14 kilometers from the start. This spot offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area, making it a perfect photo opportunity. Continuing on, you will come across rock formations known as Dva Brata (Two Brothers) at around 1.32 to 1.34 kilometers from the start, adding an interesting geological feature to your hike.
At the turnaround point, you will reach the summit of Beshtau, where you can enjoy a well-deserved break and soak in the stunning views of the landscape below. On your way back, you can visit the tomb of Archimandrite Siluan located near the trail, adding a touch of history to your outdoor adventure.
