Located in a picturesque area, our hiking route to Малый Тау (translated as "Small Tau") promises both stunning views and a challenging trek. With a total distance of 5.549 kilometers and an elevation gain of 708 meters, this route is classified as difficult and is estimated to take around 3 hours to complete.

Starting our journey, we pass by several parking areas within the first 0.3 kilometers, making it convenient for hikers to park their vehicles before embarking on the trail. As we trek further, we come across Место упокоения Архимандрита Силуана, a historic tomb located right by the trail, adding a touch of cultural significance to our hike.

As we progress, we encounter various points of interest such as viewpoints and peaks along the way. At around 1.69 kilometers into the hike, we reach a viewpoint overlooking the breathtaking landscape, providing a perfect spot to rest and take in the surroundings. Additionally, benches are strategically placed along the trail at 1.67 kilometers, offering a comfortable resting spot for weary hikers.

Halfway through our hike, at 2.77 kilometers, we reach the first peak named Малый Тау, where hikers can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further ahead, at 1.67 kilometers, we encounter the peak of Бештау, adding to the scenic beauty of the trail.

The trail also includes historical landmarks such as Памятная табличка Ю.Визбору, a memorial plaque located 1.02 kilometers into the hike, immersing hikers in the rich history of the region.

Before embarking on this challenging hike, it is advisable to bring an adequate water supply, wear proper hiking gear, and check the weather forecast. With its diverse points of interest and rewarding views, the hike to Малый Тау is sure to offer a memorable and adventurous experience for outdoor enthusiasts.
