This hiking route will take you along the Malecón, a popular esplanade in Havana, Cuba, known for its stunning views of the sea and historic monuments. The route is circular and covers a distance of 1.315 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it super easy for hikers of all levels.
As you start your hike, you'll come across the Monumento a las víctimas del Maine, a historic monument dedicated to the victims of the USS Maine explosion. Further along the trail, you'll pass by the Fuente del Hotel Nacional, a beautiful fountain located midway through the route.
While hiking, you'll also encounter various cafes and restaurants such as Bim Bom and Café TV, where you can take a break and grab a bite to eat. Make sure to carry an ample water supply and check the weather forecast before heading out.
