This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on an out-and-back journey to Font de Querol, Camí al Pont Cabradís, and Guixers. The 15.362-kilometer trail has an elevation gain of 483 meters and is expected to take around 4 hours and 45 minutes to complete.
Starting at a parking area, you will first encounter a spring at 0.23 kilometers into the hike, providing you with an opportunity to refill your water bottles early on. As you continue, you will come across various information points along the trail, offering insights into the surroundings and points of interest. One of these information points can be found at the very beginning of the route.
At 1.24 kilometers, nestled among the natural beauty of the area, you will reach another information point and a spring called Font de Pont Cabradís. Take a moment to rest and enjoy the serene surroundings before moving on. Further along the trail, you will encounter Coll de Castellar, a saddle point offering panoramic views of the landscape at 2.72 kilometers.
The midpoint of the hike features Pont Quebradís, a rocky formation at 1.76 kilometers from the starting point. Take some time to appreciate the unique geological features of this spot. Additionally, keep an eye out for benches along the trail, providing rest areas at various points to recharge and take in the scenery.
As you approach the end of the trail, Font de Querol will greet you at 7.68 kilometers, offering a final opportunity to rest and refresh before starting your journey back.
