Further along, at the 4.42-kilometer mark, you will reach the Refuge de la Banne, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some sustenance.

Along the way, you will also encounter water sources at different points. The first water point is just 0.02 kilometers from the start, followed by another at 0.88 kilometers and a third at 0.94 kilometers.
