This hiking route takes you through the beautiful wilderness to the Refuge de la Banne. The trail is 8.831 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 337 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It is recommended to bring plenty of water and snacks, and to check the weather forecast before setting out.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area about 2.9 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail, at the 4.42 kilometer mark, you will reach the Refuge de la Banne, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the stunning mountain views. This is a great spot to refuel before heading back.

Along the way, you will also come across some water sources. The first one is located just 0.02 kilometers from the start of the trail, followed by two more at 0.88 and 0.94 kilometers respectively. It's always a good idea to refill your water bottles whenever you can.
