This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area around Puy Ferrand. The trail is a circular route, starting and ending at an elevation of 1325 meters and reaching a peak at 1847 meters. The total distance of the hike is 7.51 kilometers with an elevation gain of 523 meters, so be prepared for some uphill climbs.

Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the parking area. As you hike further, you will pass by the stunning Cascade de la Dore waterfall, perfect for a quick break and some photos.

About 2 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Col de la Cabane, a beautiful saddle offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, you will come across the Pas de l'Âne, another scenic saddle point with breathtaking views.

At a distance of 3 kilometers from the start, you will arrive at the Puy Ferrand viewpoint, which offers a remarkable panoramic view of the area. This is a great spot to take in the scenery and rest before continuing your hike.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, you will pass by various information points and picnic sites, where you can learn more about the area and refuel for the remainder of your journey.
