This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Nofertenschneid peak. With a total distance of 21.247 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1138 meters, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart.

Starting off, you will find the Grüne-Wand-Hütte restaurant just 0.02 kilometers away from the trail. It is a great spot to grab a meal or a drink before embarking on your journey. Right at the beginning of the trail, you will also come across a convenient parking area just a few meters away.

As you make your way along the path, at about 3.95 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter an information point where you can learn more about the surroundings. Further along, at 0.34 kilometers from the start, there is another information point to explore.

Midway through the hike, approximately 10.62 kilometers from the start, you will reach the stunning Nofertenschneid peak. Take a moment to soak in the panoramic views before continuing on.
