Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Gerloskogerl peak at around 6.25 kilometers into the hike, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue on, you will pass by Berghotel Gerlosstein, a convenient rest stop located about 5.36 kilometers from the start, where you can refuel and recharge for the journey ahead.
