This hiking route takes you to the stunning Greizer Hütte in a challenging 14.09-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1718 meters. The route is rated as extremely difficult, so make sure you are well-prepared before embarking on this adventure.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your hike towards the Greizer Hütte. Along the way, you will come across the Grüne-Wand-Hütte restaurant, where you can take a break and enjoy some sustenance. As you continue on, you will reach Lapenscharte, a picturesque saddle offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Midway through the hike, you will find the Winterraum Greizer Hütte, an alpine hut providing shelter for weary hikers. Further along the trail, you will encounter informational points where you can learn more about the area and its history.

At the peak of your journey, you will reach the Greizer Hütte, a cozy alpine hut where you can rest and recharge before heading back. On the way back, take a moment to relax on one of the benches conveniently placed along the trail.
