This hiking route takes you through a challenging but rewarding terrain with a distance of 14.09 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1718 meters, making it extremely difficult. The destination of the hike is the Greizer Hütte.

Starting off, you will find the Grüne-Wand-Hütte restaurant just 0.02 kilometers from the trailhead, where you can grab a bite before embarking on your journey. As you progress, you will encounter the Lapenscharte saddle at 4.77 kilometers from the start, offering a scenic spot to rest and take in the surrounding natural beauty.

Further along the trail, at 6.98 kilometers, you will reach the Winterraum Greizer Hütte and at 7.05 kilometers, the Greizer Hütte alpine hut. These accommodations provide a cozy place to stay or refuel before continuing on your adventure.

Throughout the hike, you will also come across informational spots such as the TFW 037 - Greizer Hütte 2227m / Floitengrund information point at 7.04 kilometers, offering insights into the area's history and geography. Additionally, there are benches along the way, providing a comfortable resting place at 6.94 kilometers.
