This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the majestic Schönbichler Horn in a beautiful alpine setting. The trail spans a distance of 11.748 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1295 meters, making it a challenging adventure for experienced hikers.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards Schönbichler Horn. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. Approximately 5.87 kilometers from the start, you will reach the impressive peak of Schönbichler Horn, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

At the 1.64 kilometer mark, you will find the Alpenrose Alpine Hut, a cozy accommodation option for hikers looking to spend the night in the mountains. Nearby, Waxeggalm restaurant at 1.71 kilometers offers a perfect spot to refuel and enjoy a hearty meal.
