Welcome to the hiking route to Vrchdetva in the beautiful area surrounding Kalamárka. This moderate 6.822-kilometer long trail with an elevation gain of 243 meters will take you approximately 2 hours and 11 minutes to complete.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by the informative Horáreň Kalamárka where you can learn about the geological development of the region. Further along the trail, at a distance of 3.41 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Vrchdetva. Take a moment to enjoy the breathtaking views from the top.

Along the way, you will also come across a spring and a historic wayside cross, adding to the charm of the hike. If you need a break, there is a picnic site just 8.132 meters away from the trail to relax and refuel.

Before setting out on this adventure, make sure to bring an adequate water supply and check the weather forecast. The trail is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps back to the starting point at the parking area located 3.080 meters away from the trail.
