This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Lac des Gardes. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 3.491 kilometers and an elevation gain of 222 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across a convenient parking area at the trailhead. From there, you will make your way towards Le Rond-Point restaurant, located about 0.2 kilometers from the start. This is a good spot to grab a bite to eat before continuing on your journey.

Midway through the hike, at a distance of 1.71 kilometers from the start, you will reach Lac des Gardes, a picturesque lake where you can take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings. Just a short distance away from the lake, you will also find an information point providing you with insights about the area.

Along the trail, you may also come across Buron des Gardes, a historical site with ruins that add an interesting touch to your hike. While the buron itself is not directly on the trail, it is worth a short detour to explore this piece of history.
